Nintendo started a war with physical games in Switch 1 creating the most boring and awful insert design ever and pushing studios/publishers to pay a big extra cost for game size.

Switch 2 does double down this with a more awful design and that crappy “game key card” system.

In DX Legends, a princess, and a portal will appear randomly. Players need first to find the princess, then find the portal, and send the princess inside the portal.

The fun stuff? I’m programming bots, so…

I Highly recommend GOAP (Goal-Oriented Action Planning) for bot design. Watching the decision trees in debug is fascinating.

Once goals and conditions are set, it picks the best path. Setup takes time, but it’s as satisfying as mastering FSMs.
